Year 2 Capstone: Design Your 13th Station
Mara's Proposal: "The Cavern" — VR-equipped alcove in Building 9 basement that simulates the Lost Sea environment. Students enter total darkness, listen to water dripping on limestone for 60 seconds, then write what they heard. The sensor kit she built in TOS lab provides real-time Lost Sea temperature data piped into the simulation.
