The molecule
Creatine phosphate donates a phosphate to regenerate ATP — the cell's energy currency — in the first seconds of maximal effort, before slower systems catch up. The Creatine Lab teaches that pathway until it's intuitive.

The nonsense survives, he argues, because people learn creatine as a product rather than a molecule — dose and marketing instead of phosphate and ATP. Teach the biochemistry first and the myths lose their grip, because a student who understands the ATP-regeneration pathway can evaluate any claim about it themselves. You can't be sold a myth about a mechanism you actually understand.
